Hi Everyone!!

How are you all? Good i do hope. Sorry I have not updated in awhile...my blog has been playing up and not working!! boo!!

Im writing this update from Switzerland, Im here with Raphi and Sandro....they are both at work so I thought I would quicklz update the blog before I head out for the day! Its really great to be here with them!! Although I must tell you this keyboard is a little different to the ones we use so I appoligize in advance for anz funny typing...especiallz involving zs and ys.

SO last weekend we (Meish, Sara, Sasha, Amanda, Daniella and I) went down to the Alamfi Coast which was loads of fun. We went on a boat to Capri and even went into the Blue Grotto - a cavern on the water with a very small entrance that once your inside the water is very very blue! We went to a little hillside town called Positano (I think thats spelled right) which was stunninglz beautiful. And then finaly we went to Pompeii which was my favorite out of all the places we visited! I didnt think it would be so big!! But it was amazing to see all the ruins in such good condition when they were build before 62AD!!

Hi Everyone!

Just a quick update as its late and I'm keeping Meish up by writing this! I'm back in Florence now and leave for the Almafi Coast tomorrow which promises to be wonderful! =)




Contiki was AMAZING. i had such a blast! Unfortunalty I can only post pictures from my last day in Budapest at the moment as the rest of the photos are on another memory card! But we went to Vienna where I saw the Spanish Riding School and ate chocolate cake. To Slovakia which i loved and then on to Budapest! Budapest I think was my favorite place, not sure why but it just seemed to caputre my imagination!





All in all had a great time and met some really awesome people! I'll put some pictures bellow!

Hi Everyone,

How is everyone? Good I do hope! Well sorry I have not posted but I have not had acess to the internet of late! I'm currently in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic and it's beautiful with its many gothic buildings! Spent the last few days before that in Berlin which I loved. Went to a concentration camp which was not so nice but fascinating, saw where Hilter's bunker was, to checkpoint charlie, went to the top of the Reichstag, went to a german beer hall...so many wonderful things! Climbed to the top of the Berliner Dome...bascially had fun!

There are no pictures at the moment as I can't upload them to the computer but I will when I can! I hope everyone is well and I miss you all!!

Da Vinci's Last Supper yesterday was utterly amazing! Well worth the long train ride! =)

Hi everyone,

How are you all? Good I do hope! Well I'm still in Florence, going to Milan tomorrow and then off to Berlin on Friday to start my Contiki trip which I am really looking forward too!! I've spent the last few days doing some more sightseeing around Florence and resting up!!

Today I went to the house where Dante was born which is of course now a museum! Yesterday we went into Santa Maria Novella, one of the big churches here in Florence and I must say, Santa Croce is still my favorite church here BUT Santa Maria Novella had such an amazing altar piece – it was simply spectacular. I don’t have photos of it because you can’t take photos inside, but when I find some I will post them for you.

Last night I took a cooking class which was lots of fun! We cooked lasagna from scratch including making the pasta which was quite fun. We also made asparagus flan which was not as horrible as I thought it might be and then some small biscotti type things which were yum yums.

I’ve also been to a museum with some of Da Vinci’s works in it which leads me right into the fact that tomorrow we (Meish, Sasha and I) are going to Milan to see the Last Supper which is super exciting!!

So I’ll post some photos of Meish and I’s adventure to Pisa to see the leaning tower the other day!

This is the church and the famous leaning tower which you can now climb but you have to book 15 days in advance and so we didn't climb it!

Meish sad that we had to carry all our stuff back to the train station to get the train to florence to walk to her apartment (our bags were full of chocolate as we were on our way home from Belgium)

Hi loyal followers!

How are you all? Good I do hope! =)

Well we spent the weekend in Belgium which was AMAZING. I don't think I've eaten so much in my life but we only had 3 days to eat everything we wanted to so we sure tried our best to eat as much as we could!

We stayed not far from the Grand Place and just wandered around for the few days that we had, we went to the city museum which was cool, went shopping, went to a costume museum, had a look in a few churche...saw some of Manneken-Pis's costumes which was pretty awesome. Speaking of Manneken-Pis -- on the Saturday they dressed him up to honour St. Christopher and had him pee beer! how cool is that! For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, Manneken-Pis is the town statue of Brussels and its a little boy peeing, some of you Americans might find this a little odd so here is a link to read more about him http://www.manneken-pis.com/mainen.html

But we drank beer, ate waffles, chocolate, chips and mayo, bread, croissants, pastries, ummm lollies and biscuits and anything else that took our fancy!! It was really great to be back there, it was almost like going home.

Hi All,

How is everyone? Good I do hope!! I have heard from a few people lately that the best part of these posts just so happens to be the photos! So today I am going to post a bunch of silly photos I have accumulated!

But before I do so I can't help but give you a quick update! I'm still in Florence with Meish -- I've been doing a lot of sight seeing! Today I caught the train to Viareggio, a town on the coast of Italy which was quite pretty, then stopped off at a town called Lucca to look around. I've been to the Academia to see the statue of David, to the science museum to see Galileo's telescopes and to plenty of stunning and amazing churches! Tomorrow we (Meish, Sara and I) are off to Belgium tomorrow, which I'm very excited about!!

Okay enough babbling, here are some photos with descriptions of us being stupid!!
